OVERWHELM can be simply stated as: “NOT knowing what to do next”!
We all get overwhelmed at different times in our life, with different projects or simply with knowing what should take priority. By looking at overwhelm as simply a state where there are many things vying for your attention at the same time, you can begin to look consciously at the problem and address it. What most needs your attention? List out the tasks or projects that are overwhelming to you right now. As you go through the list, circle the ones that are critical to be completed this week. Next, transfer the ones you circled to a separate piece of paper. As you look through this new list, write down one action you can take today within each task or project on this list. Your work today is to simply take those actions. The Universe rewards action. Once you begin, you will know what to do next. It is often in knowing where to begin, that we become immobilized.
